Stefan Anderson is a friend of the Foreman Family, and he brings a wealth of knowledge to the Foundation after more than 30 years of experience working in private and charter schools as both teacher and administrator. Stefan has a passion for providing engaging opportunities for students whose interests, needs, and abilities go beyond the basic offerings of traditional schooling. Whenever possible, Stefan looks for opportunities to blend his love of outdoors with opportunities that benefit his students.

Samuel Foreman is John’s younger brother, and co-founder of the John Benjamin Foreman Foundation. Sam has always been passionate about athletic activities, socializing with friends, and spending time outdoors. Sam currently lives in Moab, Utah where he works for a guided adventure company and coaches rock climbing in one of the premier climbing locations in the world. Sam’s love of climbing has taken him to Canada, Mexico, Italy, Spain, Greece and Egypt among other international climbing destinations. Sam cherishes the memory of his brother John who taught him so much about building relationships with people who are different than him. Sam hopes through charitable giving to pay those lessons forward in John’s name by helping those who are fighting to break the cycle of mental and physical health issues that can be the fatal byproduct of the afflictions that took his big brother from him.

William Foreman is the father of his beloved sons John and Samuel Foreman. William’s greatest joy in life has been raising his two sons and spending time with his family. William is a retired lawyer who built his practice around helping the less fortunate, or those without a voice to defend themselves. William and Sam created the Foundation to honor John’s memory and John’s friendly, giving spirit. They hope to help others who struggle with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Hyper-fixation and Internet Addiction by facilitating access to useful information, and through charitable giving.

William “Kurk” Kurkamp is a longtime friend of the Foreman Family and one of John’s favorite adults as John was growing up. As a young boy, John referred to Kurk as “That man who stays with us,” when asking his Dad when Kurk would return for another visit to Arizona for Spring Training baseball. Kurk is a retired road building contractor and Operating Engineer from the Joliet, Illinois area. Kurk comes from a family of educators. His two sons are successful career-long teachers at the high school level, and his wife Kathy is a retired teacher as well.

In addition to having worked as a hiking and climbing guide throughout the southwest, Scott comes from a background in electrical contracting. With a strong passion for community development and public service, Scott has successfully organized outreach and environmental stewardship events in and around his hometown of Phoenix, Arizona and beyond.
